Spring is here and summer on the way. Time to push through the fatigue and get back to physical fitness. I have previously talked about the difficulties of working out with fatigue as well as the benefits of fitness on stress. Today, I decided to share with you in a video some motivation on pushing through the fatigue and getting that workout done.
We are all under stress. Stress can impact our sleep, mood and energy levels in a negative way. I have been under a lot of stress lately and I know many of you have been too. Stress really throws your whole body off, making it difficult to sleep and thus more fatigue. It can be an endless cycle. Stress also can cause other physical difficulties. For me, I can get RLS or Restless legs and it it isn’t always just in the legs. Breaking the stress cycle with exercise is really a must for me. I will sleep better and think better and most of all better able to handle the on going stressers in my life. It is so easy to say “not today, I am to tired/busy”, I know, I do it too. I did yesterday. But we can’t keep putting it off. We need to push through. Exercise, like stress, has an impact on your sleep, mood and energy levels; but unlike stress, the impact is a POSITIVE one. I sincerely hope this can bring some motivation and ideas to all of you who are going through a difficult time whether it be a big life stress/change, health issues, or just lack energy and motivation to just get up and workout. Believe me when I say: If I can do it, so can you!
